What separates the Q5 from the Q7?

The drivetrains are vastly different with unique options. The Q7 offers the 3.0L TFSI with 6 cylinder engine. Horsepower comes in at 335 for the Q7, while the Q5 comes in at 369 horsepower, all being fed from the hybrid combination. This means that the standard engine is paired with an electric motor. This gives you more fuel economy, putting more money back into your pocket through and through with the Audi Q5.

What about the interior?

The Q5 offers more room in the front-end, with less room in the second row. The Q7 adds a bit more in the second row with more legroom and shoulder room. The Q7 does offer a third row, seating five passengers with comfort, and a bit of legroom. Need more room for cargo? Fold-down that third row, and you've got all the space you need.

One thing you'll find that these models have in common is the cabin. They both feature what Audi refers to as a "virtual cockpit." There is an instrument cluster behind the steering wheel which flows from the infotainment system. Google Earth is connected, giving you the ability to keep in touch with your surroundings regardless of where you are.

This cluster can be customized to your liking, showing what you use most. The Q5 boasts features an Audi smartphone interface with the MMI all in touch system. The Q7 also has MMI, but it features a dual-screen, and it's a Navigation system. Both systems are compatible with Bluetooth, giving you hands-free functionality. The icing on the cake is the ability to connect to the renowned Bang and Olufsen premium grade sound system.
